- Reservations and Payments:
- All reservations must be confirmed with full payment at the time of booking, subject to availability.
- All payments made to Roots Ghana are non-refundable and non-transferable due to contractual obligations with our Ghanaian partners and suppliers.
- Cancellation by Travelers:
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@rootsghana.com.
- Cancellations made after confirmation are non-refundable.
- We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation coverage, to protect your investment.
- Refunds:
- Generally, no refunds are available once a booking is confirmed and paid, as per our contractual commitments with hotels, airlines, and activity providers.
- In exceptional cases, refunds may only be considered if a third-party provider or supplier offers a refund, which is then passed on to the traveler after deducting any applicable fees.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows:
- No refunds will be issued for late cancellations, missed departures, or no-shows.
- Cancellation Due to Force Majeure:
- If the trip is canceled or significantly altered due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), no refunds will be provided unless we recover funds from suppliers, in which case refunds will be processed accordingly.
- Travel Insurance:
- It is highly recommended that travelers purchase travel protection, including cancellation coverage, to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.
- Important Note:
- All refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the policy of the respective suppliers (hotels, airlines, activity providers) and may take additional time to be issued.
